Whenever any suspension or steering system fasteners are loosened or removed, they should be inspected and replaced if necessary, with parts that are either the same part number as those being replaced or of similar quality and design. All fasteners should be tightened to the specified torque to ensure proper assembly and component integrity. Any bent or damaged parts should be replaced.
The front suspension is a MacPherson strut type. The struts are attached with their upper ends to reinforced platforms at the top of the wheel arches, and with their lower ends to the steering arms/suspension arms. The stabilizer bar is attached to the lower part of the body.
