If the engine does not start, systemic troubleshooting should be performed. There can be two reasons for starting the engine on gasoline engines: The air-fuel mixture must enter the cylinders and a spark must jump between the spark plug electrodes.
Therefore, the first thing to check is whether fuel is being supplied at all. How this is done is described in the section "Fuel system".
