Rear window heating (BMW 5 Series E39)
Turning on
Press the key. While the indicator lamp is on, the rear window heating operates in high power mode (accelerated defrosting) When the lamp goes out, the heating power is reduced and it is switched off automatically.
If necessary, press the key again. The rapid defrost will be turned on again while the indicator lamp is on.
Shutdown
When the indicator lamp is on, press the key.
