A special roof rack is offered as an additional piece of equipment. Please follow the recommendations contained in the installation instructions.
When loading the roof rack, the height of the car's centre of gravity increases, which significantly changes its dynamic qualities and controllability.
Therefore, when loading, make sure that you do not exceed the load capacity of the luggage rack, as well as the permissible limits for the gross vehicle weight and axle load. You will find the relevant data in Specifications.
Load placed on the roof rack should be distributed evenly and as compactly as possible. Heavy items should be placed at the bottom.
Correct and reliable fastening of the stowed load will prevent it from shifting or falling from the vehicle while it is moving (posing a danger to vehicles driving behind you).
The car should be driven in a balanced manner, avoiding jerks from a standing start, sudden braking and reckless driving on turns.
Loaded luggage on top increases the area of frontal resistance. As a result, fuel consumption increases and the load on the body increases.
