Cross beam rubber block — replacement (BMW 7 Series E32)
Removal
Remove the rear seat. Support the trailing arm.

Remove the thrust rod. Knock the screw pin upwards.
Place the shaped washer (A) between the body and the cross member on the rubber bearing.
Screw in the threaded spindle.

Insert the puller (1) with its grips into the recesses.
Unscrew the threaded spindle with the puller and remove the bearing.
Installation
Place a shaped washer (B) between the body and the beam on the edge of the mounting sleeve and screw in the spindle (B).
Coat the rubber bearing with special oil or deionized water and place it on the rear axle cross member.

Tighten with a shaped washer (G) and nut (D).
