Rear axle air suspension
An air suspension for the rear axle is installed as additional equipment. The air shock absorber strut consists of an air chamber, an air chamber shell, and a swinging piston with additional volume. The air chamber shell forms a sealed movable connection between the air chamber and the shock absorber. With its working inner surface, it transmits the vehicle load through air pressure.
On the right and left of the rear axle there are covers for the body position sensors, which are connected via an adjusting rod to the pneumatic shock absorbers.
The air supply system control unit is located under the spare wheel behind the cover.
