Replacing the rear suspension arms (BMW X5 E53)

The general view of the layout of the rear axle levers is shown in Figure 14.39, the detailing of the rear suspension lever system is shown in Figure 14.3.





When working on a vehicle with an air spring, remove the air supply system fuse to prevent it from triggering. Loosen the pipeline fastening to the distribution manifold to reduce the pressure in the system. Adjust the wheel alignment angles after completing the work.
