When working with parts of the fuel system, special attention must be paid to cleanliness.
Clean joints and their surroundings thoroughly before separating.
Place the removed parts on a clean surface and cover them using film and paper.
Cover open parts carefully or plug them when making repairs.
Install only clean parts.
Remove spare parts from packaging just before installation.
Do not use parts that have been stored unpackaged or in open boxes.
When opening the fuel system, if possible, do not use compressed air. Do not move the car if possible.
Diesel fuel must not get on the radiator hoses, because. it will ruin them. If fuel is spilled, it must be wiped up immediately.
