Removal and installation of switches: hazard warning lights, single lock, window lifters (BMW 3 Series E46)
Removal

1. Disconnect "1" and turn it upward.

2. Unscrew screws "1". 2 – gear shift lever visor.

3. Raise the visor "2" slightly and remove the window lift switch "3" from below. To do this, press the lock "4".
For clarity, the visor is shown in the accompanying illustration in a rotated position.
4. Remove the hazard warning/lock switch.
5. Disconnect the connector.
Installation
6. Connect the connector to the switch.
7. Connect the window switch to the switch lever visor, press it on the other side and fix it.
8. Press the hazard warning/unlock switch into the visor.
9. Secure the visor and connect the cover to it.
