Windshield washer fluid contains additives that not only help clean the glass well in bad weather, but also prevent the fluid from freezing in cold weather - exactly when glass cleaning is most often required. Do not add clean water to the reservoir, because the fluid will freeze in the cold.
Never use antifreeze on this chain unless you want to damage the paintwork of your vehicle.
1. The filler neck of the windshield/headlight washer reservoir is located in the right front corner of the engine compartment. The fluid level is visible through the walls of the reservoir. If you need to add fluid, unscrew the reservoir cap.
2. Fill with water and add detergent additives according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
