Before checking
Park the machine on a level surface.
Turn the steering wheel to the straight ahead position.
Turn off the engine.
For a correct test, do not turn the steering wheel after the engine has stopped.
Safety first!
The need for frequent topping up of fluid indicates that there are leaks in the system that must be found and repaired immediately.
1. The steering fluid reservoir is located at the front in the engine compartment. To access the tank, remove the casing of the inlet air duct. Wipe the area around the filler neck with a clean rag, then unscrew and remove the reservoir cap with the dipstick.
2. Wipe the dipstick and screw the reservoir cap back on. Open the cap again and check the fluid level. The fluid level must be between the marks "MAX" And "MIN".
3. If necessary, add fluid to the reservoir. After adjusting the fluid level, screw the reservoir cap.
