Fluid for automatic transmissions (ATF) the following brands:
- E-iaij ATF Dexron II D-21631;
- MOBIL: ATF 220 D-20104;
- TOTAL: Dexron II D-21298.
Fluid level can be checked cold or hot. The heated liquid has a temperature of +80°C, the temperature of the cold liquid corresponds to the ambient air temperature.
With the engine off, remove the fluid reservoir cap.
Wipe the dipstick in the cap with a clean cloth.
Reinstall the cover (do not twist) and take it off. The fluid level should be between the marks on the dipstick, if necessary add ATF fluid with the designation Dexron II. Always add only fresh fluid, as even the smallest contamination can lead to failure of the hydraulic system.
Let the engine run and, if necessary, add fluid until the level is between the marks.
Then, with the engine running, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to purge air from the system.
Stop the engine. The fluid level should now rise about 5 mm above the MAX mark. Check the O-rings in the cover for pores or damage, replace if necessary.
Close the fluid reservoir.
