Attention:
- Risk of poisoning when ingesting oil.
- Risk of injury if oil comes into contact with eyes or skin.

- Maintain exceptional cleanliness. Prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
- Before checking, make sure that all hoses, the power steering pump and the steering gear are tight.
1. Pump out the hydraulic fluid from the tank and send it for disposal.
2. Remove the front panel of the unit protection.
3. Disconnect the pressure line from the power steering pump.

4. Connect tool 324000 with new sealing rings to the power steering pump and pressure line.
5. Close the tap (A).
6. Open the tap (B).
7. Fill and bleed the system.
8. Start the engine.
9. Heat the liquid to 50°C at high engine speed.
10. Close the tap (B) for no more than 10 seconds and read the pressure value.
11. Compare the measured pressure value with the specified nominal pressure:
- 1) If the actual pressure exceeds the nominal pressure by more than 10%, the power steering pump must be replaced.
- 2) If the actual pressure is more than 10% lower than the nominal pressure, the drive belt tension must be checked. If the drive belt tension is correct, the power steering pump needs to be replaced.
12. Fill and bleed the hydraulic system.
13. Check the tightness of the pipeline connections.
