Removal the telescopic stand (BMW 5 Series E12)

Place the front of the vehicle on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side.

Disconnect the brake hose mounting bracket from the telescopic strut.

Remove the front wheel brake caliper (see section "Brake system"), hang it on the technological hook to the body without disconnecting the brake hose.

Cut the safety wire and unscrew the three nuts securing the telescopic stand to the lower support.

Loosen the nuts securing the upper support of the telescopic strut to the wheel housing.

Remove the telescopic stand by pulling it downwards.
