Loosen the nut securing the tie rod to the suspension arm.
Disconnect the suspension arm from the crossmember, then disconnect the tie rod from the suspension arm.
Cut the safety wire and unscrew the nuts securing the telescopic suspension strut to the lower support.

Working from inside the lower support of the telescopic suspension strut, remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut of the ball joint pin of the suspension arm, then press the pin out of the socket using the Kukko puller.

Check the condition of the rubber-metal hinges of the suspension arm and the clearance along the height of the ball joint pin, which should be no more than 1.4 mm. If it is larger, replace the suspension arm assembly.
Pressing out and pressing in rubber-metal hinges of suspension arms is done using the 6011 device with two clamping cups and a central threaded rod. To facilitate pressing in a new hinge, lubricate it with soapy water or glycerin.
The suspension arm is installed in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- replace the self-locking nuts securing the tie rod to the suspension arm and the suspension arm to the front axle crossmember each time they are removed. Do not reuse these nuts;
- lock the three nuts securing the lower support of the telescopic suspension strut with wire;
- the support washer placed under the nut securing the tension rod to the suspension arm must be installed with the convex side facing the rubber-metal hinge.
