Adjusting the initial position of the throttle valve of the 2nd chamber (BMW 5 Series E12)

Install indicator 3 on the carburetor (see picture), resting its foot against the throttle valve of the 2nd chamber.

Loosen the throttle stop screw 1 so that it does not come into contact with the carburetor elements.

Move throttle lever 2 slightly in the direction of the arrow (see picture). Using an indicator and stop screw 1 of the throttle valve, set the gap "a" to 0.05±0.02 mm. Measure the distance "b" with an indicator, which should be 13 mm.
