Cars with manual transmission

Set the throttle valve of the 1st chamber to the position corresponding to the engine braking mode. To do this, start the engine at idle speed. Disconnect the atmospheric pressure supply hose from the throttle valve servo drive and plug the opening of the branch pipe (shown by the arrow in the photo), then stop the engine. In this case, the throttle servo pusher is fully retracted, i.e. it is in the engine braking position.

Set the throttle valve of the 1st chamber to the position corresponding to the engine braking mode.…

Make sure the throttle stop screw rests against the stop.

Adjust the length of the throttle linkage 1 so that a slight gap is felt.

Adjust the length of the throttle linkage 1 so that a slight gap is felt.

After adjustment, connect the atmospheric pressure supply hose to the throttle servo.

Cars with automatic transmission

Set the throttle valve of the 1st chamber to the position corresponding to the engine braking mode, as indicated above.

Adjust the throttle actuator rod 2 so that the gap "A" is within 0.5±0.25 mm.

After adjustment, connect the atmospheric pressure supply hose to the throttle servo.
