The low beam can be adjusted depending on the vehicle load. Sedan and Touring, not equipped with a ground clearance control system.
- 0 = 1 - 2 persons without luggage;
- 1 = 5 people, with or without luggage;
- 2 = 1 person, full trunk.
Sedan equipped with a ride height control system:
- 0 = 1 - 2 persons, no luggage;
- 0 = 5 people, with or without luggage;
- 2 = 1 person, full trunk.
Touring, equipped with level control, and BMW 525iX Touring: 0 = 1 - 2 persons, without luggage:
- 0 = 5 people, with or without luggage;
- 1 = 1 person, full trunk.
BMW 52SiX, 530i Touring:
- 0 = 1 - 2 persons, no luggage;
- 1 = 5 people, with or without luggage;
- 1 = 1 person, full trunk.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible rear axle load!
A very low beam position indicates a malfunction in the headlight beam angle correction system.
