- Place the vehicle on a level surface;
- Replace damaged diffusers and mirrors, as well as blackened bulbs;
- Check and adjust tire pressure if necessary;
- Place a 75kg load on the driver's seat;
- Fill the tank with fuel or put a load of appropriate weight in the luggage compartment;
- Check the correct installation of the headlights relative to the hood (gaps);
- On models with manual headlight range adjustment, turn the control to position 0;
- On models with automatic headlight leveling, wait 30 seconds after turning on the headlights;
- On models with xenon headlights, wait 80 seconds after turning on the headlights; during this time, the car must be stationary and not subject to vibrations;
- Set the device for adjustment along the longitudinal axis of the car parallel to the plane on which the car is located. Set the mark (M) on the device to the size (e). The divisions of the scale on the device show the slope (cm) at a distance of 10 m.
e — Set value of headlight adjustment: according to the nameplate on the headlight housing in % (e.g. 1.0 % = 10 cm / 10 m ="10" on the device);
Set value for fog light adjustment: for all vehicles 2.0% = 20 cm / 10 m ="20" on the instrument

2. The headlights are adjusted using ratchets (1 and 2).

It is impossible to have a clearly correct mutual position of the adjusting ratchets.

3. The height of the fog light is adjusted using the adjusting screw (1) through the lower hole.
