Removal and installation of interior lighting devices (BMW 7 Series E38)

Main salon light

1. Fix the main interior light to prevent it from falling.



2. Remove the main interior light (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

3. Disconnect the connector underneath and remove the main interior light.

Rear interior light

1. Release the upper retainer of the rear lamp shade and separate it from the rear pillar trim.

2. Disconnect the connector and remove the lamp.

Lanterns in the doors

1. Slide the light up, hook it and remove it.





2. Turn the lamp socket of the flashlight at an angle of 90° and disconnect it from the flashlight.

Vanity Mirror Light

1. Using a screwdriver, pry up the vanity mirror light (1) from the front in the direction indicated by the arrow.

2. Disconnect the light connector and remove it.
