Memory device for seat, mirrors and steering wheel position

It is possible to memorize and recall up to three seat, mirror and steering wheel settings (if only it is electrically adjustable).

The use of a lumbar support position memory system is not provided.

Memorization

1. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to position 1 or 2.

2. Adjust the seat, mirrors and steering wheel to a comfortable position.

3. Press the MEMORY button. The indicator lamp built into it will light up

4. Press key 1, 2 or 3 at your discretion. The indicator lamp will go out.

Recovery

The ignition key is in the position.

Press and hold the desired key (1, 2 or 3).

If any of the electric seat adjustment switches is operated or one of the memory buttons is pressed, the installation process will be interrupted immediately.

The driver's door is closed and the key in the ignition is turned to position 0 or 2, or removed altogether.

The desired key (1, 2 or 3) must be kept pressed until the installation process is complete.

If you accidentally press the MEMORY button, press it again to turn off the indicator lamp.

Automatic correction of the mirror position when reversing

Automatic correction of the mirror position when reversing

1. Turn the mirror control switch (shown by arrow) in position "Fahrerspiegel" (Driver's side mirror).

2. When reverse gear is engaged or the AT control lever is set to position R, the mirror furthest from the driver will tilt slightly so that, for example, when driving into a parking space, the lower part of the side of the car and the edge of the curbstone can be seen.

You can also disable this function by moving the mirror control switch to the position "Beifahrerspiegel" (Passenger side mirror).
