Removal and installation the battery
Caution: Observe safety precautions when handling batteries.
1. Remove the luggage compartment floor trim.
2. Unlock and disconnect the connector (2).
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable (1).
4. Open the cover (3) of the positive terminal.
5. Unscrew the nut (1) of the emergency shutdown terminal (2).
Tightening torque: 5 Nm.
Caution: Never pull forcefully or use a lever to disconnect the emergency stop terminal (2).
6. Disconnect the emergency stop terminal (2) by moving it upwards, move it to the side and secure it.
7. Unscrew the pin (1).
8. Fold the upper bracket (3) upwards.
9. Remove the bracket (2).
10. Disconnect the ventilation hose (6) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
11. Bend back both brackets (4).
12. Remove the battery (5) by moving it upwards.
Note: When installing, pay attention to the correct position of the battery (5) in the corresponding mounts.
13. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
