0. Initial position of the windshield wipers. 1. Intermittent windshield wiper operation or rain intensity sensor. 2. Normal windshield wiper speed. 3. Increased windshield wiper speed. 4. One-time inclusion. 5. Adjusting the windshield wiper interval or rain sensor sensitivity.

Allotted position

The right windshield wiper arm is partially hidden under the hood. To set the brush in a vertical position:
  • 1. Move the lever switch to position 1.
  • 2. When the windshield wipers are approximately in a vertical position, turn the ignition key to position 0.

Caution: Be sure to press the wipers against the glass before turning the ignition key to position 1 or 2. Otherwise, they may break when turned on.

Periodic mode

(Except for vehicles with a rain sensor.)

Using the knurled wheel 5 you can set one of four switching intervals. The automation additionally varies them depending on the vehicle's speed.

Rain intensity sensor (optional)

If a rain intensity sensor is present, the operation of the windshield wipers is adjusted automatically depending on the intensity of the rain. The sensor is located on the windshield, directly in front of the interior rearview mirror.

Caution: Before entering a car wash, turn off the rain sensor; otherwise, unintentional activation of the windshield wipers may damage them.

Turning on

With the ignition key in position 1 or higher, move the lever switch to position 1. The windshield wipers will make one stroke across the glass, confirming that the sensor is on. You can leave the lever switch in position 1. Then, after turning the ignition key to position 1, you only need to turn on the rain intensity sensor. To do this:
  • turn the knurled wheel 5 slightly;

or
  • turn on the windshield washer 1.

Sensitivity adjustment

Turn the knurled wheel 5.

Shutdown

Move the toggle switch to position 0.

Normal windshield wiper speed

When the vehicle stops, it automatically switches to intermittent operation mode (except for vehicles with a rain sensor).

Increased windshield wiper speed

When the car stops, it automatically switches to normal speed (except for vehicles with a rain sensor).

Washing of the windshield, rear window and headlights (optional)

0. Initial position of the windshield wipers. 1. Washing the windshield and headlights. 2. Periodic operation of the rear window wiper. 3. Washing the rear window.

Caution: To avoid impairing visibility, use your windshield washers only if you are confident the fluid will not freeze on your windshield. Use antifreeze. Do not operate the windshield washer system if there is no fluid in the reservoir to prevent damage to the washer pump.

Windshield washing

The supply of washer fluid to the windshield is accompanied by a short-term activation of the windshield wipers. When the engine is running or the ignition is on, the windshield washer nozzles are automatically heated.

Headlight wash (optional)

If the exterior lights are on, the headlights are washed automatically at optimal intervals.

Rear wiper

The rear wiper can operate in intermittent mode. When reverse gear is engaged, the windshield wiper switches to continuous operation mode. The switching frequency can be programmed:
  • 1. Move the switch from position 0 to position 2 and back.
  • 2. Wait the required time (no more than 30 seconds).
  • 3. Move the switch from position 0 to position 2 again.
