Removal and installation glow plugs (n47 engine)
Note: If the glow plugs are not functioning properly, be sure to check the fuse located behind the glove compartment.
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the soundproofing casing.
4. Remove the intake manifold.
5. Squeeze the connector clamps (1) and disconnect the connectors from the glow plugs.
6. Remove the glow plugs using tool 116050.
Note. If necessary, re-drill the 116050 with a ∅ 9.5 mm spiral drill to a depth of approximately 20 mm.
Tightening torque: 18 Nm.
7. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: Read the information in the DDE system ECU fault memory, check the messages, correct the faults and clear the information.
