Removal and installation the starter (m57 TU/M57 T2 engine)



1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the lower gearbox cover.

3. Unscrew the nut (1).

5. Unscrew the screws (1).

6. Press the starter (1) forward and remove it by sliding it along the front side member.
