Removal and installation the starter (m47 T2 engine)
1. Read the DDE ECU fault codes.
2. Turn off the ignition.
3. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
4. Unscrew the nut (1).
5. Disconnect the positive cables (2) of the battery.
6. Loosen the nut (3) and disconnect the control circuit wire.
Tightening torque:
- M5: 5 Nm.
- M6: 7 Nm.
- M8: 13 Nm.
7. Remove the screws.
Tightening torque: 45 Nm.
8. Remove the starter (1) from the flange on the gearbox, lift it from the rear and remove it.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note:
- Check the recorded fault codes.
- Clear fault codes.
