Removal and installation the generator (n47 engine)
1. Read the information from the fault memory of the DDE system ECU.
2. Turn off the ignition.
3. Disconnect the battery.
4. Remove the soundproofing casing.
5. Remove the generator drive belt.
6. Unlock the connector (1) and pull it out in the direction indicated by the arrow.
7. Unscrew the nut (2) and disconnect the positive wires (3).
Tightening torque: 13 Nm.
8. Loosen the bolts (1) and remove the generator (2) by moving it upwards.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note:
- Check the recorded fault codes.
- Clear fault codes.
