Removal and installation the ignition coil (n52 K engine)
1. Read the information in the fault memory of the DME system ECU.
2. Check the recorded error messages.
3. Turn off the ignition.
4. Remove the ignition coil housing.
5. Unlock and disconnect the ignition coil connector (1).
6. Remove the ignition coil (1) by moving it upwards.
Note: This sequence is valid for all coils.
Note: Check the position of the ignition coil rubber seal (1).
Note:
- When installing, it is necessary to put the connector (1) on the ignition coil with the retainer (2) folded back.
- Carefully close the lock (2) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Note: When installing, the latch should snap into place without much effort.
7. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: Clear fault codes.
