Removal and installation the generator (m47 T2 engine)
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the fan shroud.
3. Remove the generator drive belt.
4. Loosen the power steering pump mount, move it to the side and prevent it from falling.
5. Loosen the coolant reservoir mount, move it to the side and prevent it from falling.
8. Unscrew the nut (1).
7. Unlock and disconnect the connector (2).
Note:
- From contact 30 of the generator, power is additionally supplied to the pre-heating control unit.
- It is imperative that this wire be connected, otherwise it will cause damage to the glow plug system.
8. Unscrew the bolt and remove the idler pulley (1).
9. Unscrew the bolts.
10. Remove the generator (2) by moving it upwards.
11. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
