Removal and installation the starter (n47 engine)
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the unit protection panel.
4. Disconnect the connector (1).
5. Unscrew the nut.
Tightening torque: 13 Nm.
6. Remove the positive cable (2) from the battery.
7. Remove the screws.
8. Remove the starter.
Note:
- When installing, it is necessary to strictly follow the tightening order of the fasteners.
- Set the starter to the desired position. Tighten screws (1) and (2), then tighten the lock bolt (3).
Tightening torque: 25 Nm.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: Check the drive pinion and starter ring gear for damage; replace the starter if necessary.
