Diesel engines: 1 - fuel pump relay; 2 - main DDE relay (diesel digital electronic control system); 3 - missing.
The fuel pump relay is located in the relay box at the left rear of the engine compartment. It supplies power to the fuel pump. When you stop receiving pulses from the speed sensor with the ignition on (with a stalled engine) the control circuit interrupts the power supply.
If it is necessary to test the fuel injection system with the engine off, pull out the relay and bridge terminal 30 and terminal 87b (on diesel engine terminal 87) short jumper with a diameter of 1.5 mm.
Attention: When checking the fuel pump relay, the battery must be charged.
Check the fuse for the fuel injection system. The location of the fuses is located on the cover of the fuse box.
Pull out the fuel pump relay.
Short jumper between terminals 30 and 87b (on diesel engine terminal 87). Do not damage fragile contacts. If the pump runs, replace the fuel pump relay. Otherwise, ring the green-violet wire at the fuel pump and, if necessary, replace the wire.
