Removal and installation the exterior mirror housing (BMW 3 Series E46)
Removal
1. Remove the mirror glass.
2. Fold the mirror forward.
3. Remove the brackets (arrows in the illustration) and remove the lid.
Installation
4. Fix the cover.
5. Install the mirror glass.
