Torque converter cuff

1. Remove the gearbox and torque converter (see paragraph 5)

2. Hook and remove the old cuff from the gearbox housing. An alternative method is to drill a small hole in the cuff, then screw a screw into the hole and remove the old cuff with pliers.

3. Lubricate the new seal with clean transmission fluid and insert it into place using a piece of pipe of the appropriate diameter.

4. Remove the old O-ring from the input shaft and install a new one. Apply a small amount of mineral grease to the new ring.

5. Reinstall the torque converter and gearbox (see paragraph 5).

6. Replacing this cuff requires partial disassembly of the gearbox (see paragraph 6). Replacement of this cuff should be entrusted to service station specialists.
