Note 1: For 5-speed transmission models without a dipstick, the fluid should be replaced at a qualified service station (because checking the fluid level requires special equipment).
Note 2: You will need a new drain plug seal ring during installation.
1. Before draining, warm up the fluid to operating temperature. To do this, you need to drive at least 30 km.
2. Immediately after driving, park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake. If necessary (for ease of access) raise the vehicle and support it (see "Raising and Supporting the Vehicle"). Keep in mind that the vehicle must be in a horizontal position.
3. Loosen the tightening screw under the vehicle and unscrew the drain plug approximately half a turn (fig. 9.3, a, b). Place a container under the cork and unscrew the cork. If possible, try to press the cork until you unscrew it completely.

After unscrewing the plug, remove it quickly so that the oil flows into the container and not into your sleeve.
4. Remove the sealing ring from the plug.
5. Place a new ring on the plug, screw in the plug and tighten it to the required torque.
6 In accordance with the recommendations in paragraph 8, fill with the recommended fluid type (see "Lubricants and fluids") through the filler hole or into the dipstick hole.
7. Check the fluid level (see paragraph 8). Please note that the liquid is not heated to operating temperature.
8. Apply the parking brake, set the selector to position "P", start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Then check the fluid level again (see paragraph). Please note that some fluid may need to be removed from the transmission.
