Throttle valve potentiometer 1st chamber (BMW 5 Series E12)
Removal
Disconnect the throttle valve potentiometer connector No.1.
Remove the potentiometer holder by unscrewing the mounting screw.
Remove the potentiometer, making sure that the connecting sleeve 1 does not fall out (see photo).


Check the condition of the coupling and replace it if necessary.
Installation
Replace coupling sleeve 1 and install the potentiometer, paying attention to the position of the locking grooves.

Install the potentiometer holder and tighten the screw that secures it.
Connect the potentiometer connector.
