Set the gear selector lever on the gearbox housing to position "O".
Disconnect the transmission control rod from the gear selector lever.
Adjust the length of the gearbox control rod so that the selector lever reaches the stop "C" of the selector lever linkage.
After this, reduce the length of the drive rod by tightening the threaded coupling by 4-4.5 turns.
Attach the drive rod to the gear selector lever and lock the fastening.
