Before checking the pressure, set the selector lever to the "P" position, start the engine at idle speed and make sure that the oil level in the gearbox is normal (the difference in oil level between the "mini" and "maxi" marks on the dipstick is approximately 0.2-0.4 l).
The pressure in the automatic transmission is checked with the throttle control cable disconnected and the crankshaft speed at 1500 rpm. The pressure values are specified in the subsection "Detailed technical specifications".
To check the pressure in the torque converter, connect a pressure gauge to port 1 (see photo); to check the pressure in the clutch "A" - to hole 2; to check the operating pressure and the oil supply pressure to the oil cooler - to holes 3 and 5; to check the pressure in the centrifugal pressure regulator - to hole 6, to check the pressure in the pressure reducing valve - to hole 7.
