Drain the oil from the rear axle housing.
Disconnect the rear propeller shaft from the final drive pinion flange and disconnect the wheel drive shafts from the differential output shaft flanges.
Support the rear axle with a mobile garage jack and remove the side bolts securing the rear axle.
Unscrew the upper bolt securing the bridge to the rubber suspension support.
Remove the rear axle by lowering the jack.
