Removal and installation speakers (BMW 5 Series E34)

Removal

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.



Loudspeakers in the footwell: Turn locks 1 by 90°. Remove trim and detach front hook 2.

On the driver's side, first unscrew the bolts of the engine compartment hood opening handle and remove the lever.



Front and rear shelf speakers: Carefully remove the speaker grilles.

Speaker (high frequency) in the mirror trim: See the section "Removing the mirror".

Loosen the speaker mounting screws, pull out the speakers. Disconnect the speaker connectors.

Installation

Connect the speaker connector. Screw the speaker on.

Install the trim and secure it with locks, screw on the hood release lever.

Install the speaker grille.

Connect the ground wire to the battery.
