Removal and installation speakers (BMW 3 Series E30)

Removal

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Models produced since August 1985.

Partially pull back the edge banding of the side paneling in the footwell.



Loosen screws "1" of the engine compartment hood opening handle and remove the handle.

Unscrew bolts "2". Remove the trim from the side.

Please note: The lining is partially glued to the mat.

Loosen the speaker screws, pull out the speaker, disconnect the speaker connector.

Installation

Connect the speaker connector. Secure the speaker with screws.

Install the trim and secure it with a screw. Glue the trim in the area of the side trim mat.

Install the engine compartment hood release handle.

Press the side panel flange into place.

Connect the ground wire to the battery.
