Removal and installation, adjustment of windshield washer jets (BMW 3 Series E30)
Removal
Open the engine compartment hood.
Disconnect the supply hose from the distributor to the jet in the middle of the engine compartment hood. First, loosen the hose clamp.
Use a screwdriver to press the jet from the bottom of the engine compartment hood and pull the jet upward.
Installation
Insert the nozzle from above and slide it back until it snaps into place in the retainer.
Connect the water supply hose to the distributor and secure with a clamp.
Adjustment
The injection direction of the nozzle can be adjusted using the needle.

Dimensions for adjustment: a = 300 mm; b = 460 mm; c = 260 mm; d = 430 mm.

The jet can be cleaned with compressed air and adjusted with a needle.
