Adjustment

Mark the points where the washer fluid jets meet the windshield in accordance with the specified dimensions with adhesive tape or a felt-tip pen and turn on the washer system. The fluid jets must hit the centers of the panels, otherwise the nozzles must be adjusted.

Dimensions for adjusting the injectors: A1 = 226 mm, A2 = 540 mm, B1 = 530 mm, B2 = 506 mm, C1 = 460 mm, C2 = 450 mm, D1 = 210 mm, D2 = 505 mm.

The directions of the injector jets can be adjusted if necessary using a needle or a suitable pin. At service stations, the HAZET 4850-1 device is used for this purpose. The device consists of a telescopic rod with a needle inserted into the nozzle hole. The extended telescopic rod shows the direction of the injector jet more accurately than a conventional spoke.
