The oil level should be checked regularly, for example at every refueling. In this case, the car must stand on a flat horizontal surface.
The measurement result is most accurate if it is carried out on a cold engine before starting. If the engine was running, then it must be turned off and wait a while (about 10 minutes), to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase.
Pull out the dipstick, wipe it with a clean cloth and insert it into the guide tube until it stops. The oil level should be between the two marks on the dipstick.
