Connect an ohmmeter to the valve contacts and measure the resistance:
- terminals 1 and 2 about 40 ohms.
- terminals 2 and 1, or 2 and 3: about 20 ohms.
Dynamic check
Connect the power connector.
Fully open or close the valve piston.
Turn on the ignition. The rotary piston should take a position of approximately 50% of the cross-hole and remain in this position.
Installation
Connect the hoses to the idle speed control valve.
Put on the connector and secure the wire.
