Note: To check if the idle speed control valve is working, place your hand on the valve. When the engine is running, the valve should vibrate from the power pulses.
Disconnect connector 2 of the idle speed control valve. The figure shows the M20 engine, on the M50 engine the valve is located under the intake manifold.
Remove the wire fastening tape 3.
Release the idle speed control valve from the clamps and pull it out.
