Withdrawal
Note: This describes how to remove the rear shelf when the rear window roll-up blind is installed.
Press both C-pillar trims at the top and unfasten from the two pin clips.
Disconnect plug from interior light and set cover with light to one side.
Loosen the seat belt mounting bolts at the bottom.
Remove the rear seat back. If there is a folding mechanism, fold the backrest forward.
On the luggage compartment side, unscrew the 3 nuts securing the retractable rear window blind. Preliminarily mark the mounting position of the nuts by circling the washers located under them with a felt-tip pen.
On the right side of the passenger compartment, disconnect the plug connection for the roller blind drive.
Remove the outer head restraints. To do this, pull the head restraints up completely and, by lightly pressing the rods back and forth, pull them out in an upward motion.
2nd way:
- Unfasten the headrest covers. To do this, pull the lining upwards at the back, then upwards obliquely backwards and thereby release them from the front.
- Unlock headrests and pull up. To do this, feel for the locking lever through the hole in the rear shelf with your finger and, overcoming the force of the spring, move it forward. The stop lever is located on the inside of the outer guide rod.
Unbolt the center head restraint base.
Remove the seat belt covers from the rear shelf and remove them together with the belts.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the plastic screws and unfasten the rear shelf from the four spacer clips.
Note: 6 spacer clips are installed if there is a layout mechanism.
Pull the rear shelf slightly forward. In this case, the assistant must press the bolts upward through the holes from the side of the luggage compartment (hairpins) rear shelf mounts. Acting from a hundred cabins through the side holes in the roar of the retractable curtain behind the window glass and lifting it up, at the same time pull the cover forward. In this case, the fastening fingers of the retractable curtain move through the resonant boxes of the loudspeakers.
Caution: Otherwise, the studs will prevent the rear shelf from being pulled forward.
Installation
Insert the rear shelf and slide back. In this case, 4 trunnions at the rear of the shelf must enter into the guides of the body.
From the side of the luggage compartment, screw in 3 nuts with washers, setting them in the position marked before removal, and tighten the nuts to a torque of 6 Nm.
Insert 4 or 6 spacers, respectively, and screw in the plastic screws.
Insert seat belts with pads into the rear shelf, fasten the pads.
Screw on the base for the center headrest.
If removed, attach head restraint covers.
Insert and secure the outer head restraints.
Connect the plug connection of the rear window blind drive.
Adjust or fold back the rear seatback accordingly.
Fasten plate -4- for securing seat belt using washer -2- and hexagon bolt -1-. Tighten the bolt to 50 Nm.
Attention: Lug -3- must be at the top during installation.
Connect the plug connector of the interior light, fasten the trims of the C-pillars.
