Wheel and tire sizes, tire pressure (BMW 7 Series E32)

Wheel and tire sizes, tire pressure

All tire pressure values apply to cold tires. After a long journey, tire pressure increases by 0.2-0.4 bar. It must not be released. When installing winter tires, their speed limits must be taken into account.

Note: Due to technical progress, new tire and wheel combinations may be available and tire pressure data may be adjusted. In complex cases, please consult a workshop.

For sporty driving, it is recommended to increase the tyre pressure of the front and rear wheels by 0.2 bar compared to the values for the specified load levels.

When towing a trailer, the pressure must correspond to that specified for a fully loaded vehicle.

The pressure values are also indicated on a sticker located on the pillar near the driver's door.

Please note: Although tyres with a tread depth of at least 1.6 mm are permitted, for safety reasons it is recommended to replace tyres with a tread depth of 2 mm, and 4 mm for winter tyres.
