Wheels and tires. General information (BMW 7 Series E32)

BMW 7 series cars are equipped with tires and disks of different sizes depending on the model and its configuration. For disks, an important parameter in addition to the disk width is also the pressing depth. The pressing depth is the distance from the middle of the disk to the plane where the disk fits the brake disk.

All disks are so-called hill disks. Hill is a protrusion in the landing shelf of the disk, which during sharp turns does not allow the tubeless tire to be pressed off the disk.

Often the vehicle's documentation does not indicate what wheels and tires it is equipped with, so when installing new wheels, you need to make sure that the wheels are BMW certified.
