For further information about caring for tires, see the chapter Car maintenance.
All vehicles described in this manual are originally equipped with steel belt reinforced radial tires. The use of other tire sizes or types may affect the ride and handling of the vehicle. Never use tires of different types and sizes on the same vehicle as this can also seriously affect the handling of the vehicle. It is recommended to replace two tires at the same time on the same axle, and in case of replacing only one tire, make sure that they match in size, structure and tread pattern.
Since tire pressure significantly affects vehicle wear and handling, it should be checked in all tires at least once a month and before any long journey (see chapter Car maintenance).
Wheels should be replaced if they are bent, damaged, leaking or otherwise damaged.
Wheel and tire balance is important to the handling, braking and proper operation of the entire vehicle. Unbalanced wheels can adversely affect the handling and handling characteristics of the vehicle, as well as tire life. Every time you change a tire on a wheel, the wheels and tires should be balanced in a specially equipped workshop.
