Permissible wheel imbalance (steel and light alloy), on each side, before balancing must not exceed:
- when connecting weights with clamps - 90 g,
- when connecting weights by gluing - 120 g.
Permissible residual unbalance, on each side, after balancing should not exceed 4 g.
Balancing should be carried out with one weight with an imbalance of up to 60 g, and with two weights with an imbalance of more than 60 g.
The maximum axial runout of the wheel hub on the wheel bearing flange is 0.05 mm.
The axial clearance of the wheel hub bearing is 0.06–0.08 mm.
The wheel bolts are the same for both steel and alloy wheels. Fit new wheel bolts dry and tighten crosswise in several steps to a final torque of 140±10 Nm (14.0±1.0 kgf·m).
To protect against corrosion, it is recommended to lubricate the seat of the wheel disk on the hub with grease for rolling bearings. At the same time, make sure that the lubricant does not get on the threaded part in the holes of the hub.
The tires used, depending on the model and type of engine, the pressure value in them is indicated on the plate attached to the central pillar of a particular model.
The vehicle is equipped with «RPA» – The tire leak indicator reduces the risk of a puncture. Based on the difference in wheel speed, the system recognizes a change in air pressure in one or more wheels and warns the driver about this by illuminating a warning indicator.
